Sixty-five walkers, including several children, lined up for a wonderful 10km stroll in perfect weather across four local farms. These areas were opened to Hall walkers for the first time and really showcase the diversity and beauty of Te Horo with views of the hills and surrounding area from many new angles. Our friendly marshals made sure no one got lost and afterwards there was fresh lemonade and home baking to enjoy on the Te Horo Hall deck in the late morning sun. Fabulous! Huge thanks to Van der Valk, Pilet, Cobb, and Nick & Emily's Farms for opening their gates to us and supporting our fundraising in such a unique and enjoyable way.
This coming week the walk is through the Walker and Wilson Farms on Te Horo Beach Road. The walks continue every Sunday through to 5 May. Book now or come along on the day to experience these never to be repeated outings.
