The now completed work to quake-strengthen the Hall, restore the interior, and install a new kitchen, has only been possible with the enormous support of the Te Horo community and the local businesses, agencies, and private donors that contributed to our fundraising.

The new “Support” page on website acknowledges these sponsors and donors: https://www.tehorohall.org.nz/support
The Hall Committee now wants to celebrate with everyone who has helped to save this local taonga, with a hāngi at the Hall on Saturday 8 February. This celebration hāngi is our manaakitanga to the community for their support.
Events will kick off from 4.30 pm, with formalities at 5 pm, and hāngi served at 6 pm.
Please bring a salad or a sweet treat to share with others, your own drinks and glasses, and a picnic rug or chair as we may not have enough seats!
We are also pleased to welcome popular musos The Brooklyns to play at our event.
Do join us for the official reopening of Te Horo Hall on 8 February. Come and share some hāngi food and settle in for a special evening of socialising and meeting friends from across our beautiful part of the world.
Ngā mihi

Chair, Te Horo Hall Society
