2025/2026 Chairs AGM Report

This year has been one of major progress for Te Horo Hall, driven by a committed Committee and exceptional community support. Highlights included the hugely successful Garden Trail, raising over $50,000, completion of key earthquake‑strengthening tasks, and confirmation that KCDC will deliver the long‑awaited carpark. The Solar Project and Annex roof replacement were advanced, and important Hall improvements were completed, including polished floors, a new switchboard, and upgraded systems. In addition, the Hall now has sufficient funds to start recladding the west and south walls, marking a significant step toward full restoration and long‑term resilience.
