We are pleased to announce a grant for $20,000 from Pub Charity Limited towards the necessary earthquake strengthening work at the Hall. This is the first grant the Hall has received from a major institutional donor, and we are most grateful for their support and quick decision-making. Te Horo Hall Chairperson, Andrew Annakin, said he hoped this will encourage other donors to also contribute, “the Te Horo community continues to make a huge fundraising effort through the Road Rai$e campaign, but they cannot do it alone. Corporate donations and contributions from wealthy individuals will be the only way to bridge the funding gap to save and upgrade Te Horo Hall for everyone to enjoy”.

The Pub Charity donation has been made possible by The Jolly Pub & Kitchen (Paraparaumu), The Jolly Pub & Kitchen (Stokes Valley) and The Pinetree Arms. Our huge thanks to these businesses for their support.
